While on hunger strike after leaving his post in Spain, he kept a handwritten note that read: "Chief Air Force Pilot, while the people of Gaza are starving, I will not eat anything."
Earlier, another soldier protesting against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, Aaron Bushnell, set himself on fire in front of the Zionist Embassy in Washington. He was protesting against the White House's support for the open genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli regime.
Larry Hebert said in an interview: "Civilians in Gaza are starving, bombed and targeted every moment, that's why I'm on hunger strike." What Aaron Bushnell did was a bold move and moved me. I saw myself in him because what he was feeling was exactly what I was feeling."
He noted: "I was angered by the silence that followed Bushnell's move. I did not see a single person from the government or the army who said anything about Aaron. They didn't even mention his name, but I saw that the people of Gaza and Yemen published his pictures and honored his memory."
The crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip have been criticized by the societies of different countries, who demanded an end to the war in Gaza. Among them are citizens of the USA, the United States, Great Britain and Italy, who have repeatedly protested against the Gaza genocide.
