The German chancellor said that the re-election of US President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election is better than the victory of Donald Trump. Asked by a Berlin elementary school student about the upcoming US elections on Monday, Olaf Scholz said: "I think the current president is better than Trump, so I want him to be re-elected."
He noted: "Biden has a lot of experience and knows exactly what needs to be done to prevent a world war." The German Chancellor added: "Former US President Donald Trump would be a bad choice not only for the US, but also for Germany."
Scholz has previously said he has no doubts about Biden's right to a second term. Germany, along with some European countries, played an important role in supporting the belligerent policies of the United States of America during the presidency of Joe Biden.
