Global Power Struggle: How America's Ambitions Threaten Regional Stability and International Order

Nearly two weeks have passed since the war between Iran and Israel, a conflict initiated by the Zionist Regime's aggression on Iran's territorial integrity and independence, which has continued with the direct involvement of the United States. During this period, the realities on the ground in the war between Iran and the Zionist Regime indicate that the balance is tipping in favor of Iran. Due to the small size and the increasing weakness of the Zionist Regime's air defense systems, they were no longer able to continue the war alone, prompting the United States to officially enter the conflict and target Iran's foundational facilities.

The American attack amplified the voice of Iran's resistance. It highlighted the plight of civilians martyred by the Zionist Regime to the world, proving Iran's narrative that the Israel Regime is a source and origin of insecurity, terrorism, violence, and chaos in the West Asia region. As everyone witnessed, America fights alongside the Zionists. The American government supports the genocidal crimes against the people of Palestine, Gaza, and the West Bank. This American action prompted reactions on national, regional, and global levels.

The conflict initiated by the Zionist Regime faced strong condemnations from international communities. It has now escalated with the direct involvement of the American government, which violated international laws. This American involvement has added to the condemnations and public demonstrations in various parts of the world. Furthermore, resistance groups now have strong reasons to support Iran and Palestine. This issue prompted them to enter the field in support of Iran after some delay; this support was announced by Ansar Allah in Yemen, as well as resistance groups in Iraq and Lebanon.

Additionally, this attack created widespread solidarity within Iran and an increase in nationalism, as well as greater empathy and unity between the people of Iran and other nations in the region. America’s attacking the Iranian territory demonstrated that it could potentially attack any other independent country at any moment. America has no right to threaten the security of countries with tyranny and selfishness, as such actions lead to instability in the global order.

On the other hand, the attack on foundational power plants has given Iran the right to target the Dimona plant in Israel and highlight its effects on the Zionist settlers and their future presence in the occupied territories. Now, any defensive action taken by Iran is justifiable.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a country with unique geopolitical, geoeconomic, and geostrategic positions, is in a better position to withstand military and economic threats compared to the Israeli Regime. A situation like this encourages the people of Iran, due to their sense of belonging and national identity, to have greater resilience against pressures. It is worth noting that Iran's allies, such as Russia, China, and Pakistan, need the survival of the Islamic Republic of Iran because of Iran's unique characteristics. This strengthens Iran's position in global equations and prompts these countries to step in for support.

It is vital for Pakistan's interests and even the survival of its foundational program to support Iran and prevent the regional balance from shifting in favor of America.
For China as well, a regional balance shift benefiting America is undesirable because it would block Beijing's access to West Asia and disrupt the "Belt and Road" initiative, upon which China's global trade and influence depend. Moreover, weakening China's ally, Islamabad, would benefit India; the relationship between India and China is not only competitive but also, at times, hostile and on the brink of conflict, which needs no further explanation.

SEKO will also never allow its only access to the non-frozen seas, its route to the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean, to be lost after setbacks in the Balkans and partial setbacks in the Levant. A shift in balance favoring America threatens Russia's territorial integrity in the oil-rich Caucasus region. Moreover, Russia has benefited from Iran's assistance in the Ukraine conflict and relies on a strategic alliance with Iran in key Central Asian balances and hundreds of other issues. Therefore, if tensions and conflicts continue and regional and global countries remain indifferent to this situation, not only will the order in West Asia be further weakened, but so will the international order. This requires coordinated political and diplomatic responses from regional and global countries to prevent larger crises from emerging.
