The investigation has revealed what it said were mistakes, missed opportunities, and political choices by the Biden administration that allowed a famine to occur in northern Gaza.
The results of the investigation are based on leaked documents and the testimony of current and former US leaders as well as witnesses, an issue that shows a bad picture of a disaster that could have been fully prevented.
An investigation by the British newspaper has said that, approximately 19 internal documents, in the United States Development Agency, criticized the Washington government's support for the war against Gaza, and an internal document prepared this month and submitted to the Biden administration, calling ending the Israeli siege that causes hunger in Gaza.
The newspaper also quoted US officials - some of them former - as saying that Washington gave protection to Israel to cause famine in Gaza, by not allowing humanitarian aid to be sent to the area, and that the Biden administration refused or ignored requests to pressure Israel to allow sufficient humanitarian aid to enter the Palestinian territory.
