A significant number of Palestinian people, waving resistance flags, joyfully welcomed the release of male and female Palestinian prisoners in accordance with the agreement reached with the Zionist regime. The Bitonya settlement was among the locations where crowds gathered to greet the women and children freed from Zionist regime prisons. To curb the spread of information about the resistance's victory, the Zionist regime prohibited celebrations by families of Palestinian prisoners and restricted filming. Al-Jazeera TV reported that Zionist police seized the houses of Palestinian prisoners in occupied Jerusalem to prevent Palestinian celebrations and the dissemination of news about the victory. The Times of Israel, a Zionist newspaper, documented Israeli police attacking families of Palestinian prisoners near the Ofer prison in the West Bank, attempting to disperse them with tear gas. Palestinian prisoners were reportedly transferred to Ofer prison for release and return to their homes in the West Bank or occupied Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority for Prisoners' Affairs confirmed the release of 39 prisoners (24 women and 15 children) by the Israeli army. This group, the first under the ceasefire agreement, was handed over to Red Cross forces on Friday night. Additionally, RT news agency reported that 13 Israeli prisoners were handed over to the Red Cross, and 11 captives of Filipino and Thai nationality were also released. Simultaneously, as Israeli prisoners entered the occupied Palestinian territory, two Red Cross buses carrying Palestinian prisoners departed from Ofer prison.
