According to the report of "Armenpress" reporter, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, stated this during the weekly briefing, noting that Baku and Yerevan should avoid any actions that would strain the situation. "We consistently call on Baku and Yerevan to show restraint and take steps in the direction of de-escalation. All arising issues should be resolved exclusively peacefully by political and diplomatic means. What happened proves once again that Armenia and Azerbaijan should immediately return to the full implementation of the provisions of the tripartite declarations, which was achieved at the highest level in 2020-2022. We are sure that territorial disputes should be resolved within the framework of the work of the bilateral commission created for delimitation," Zakharova noted and emphasized that Moscow is ready to provide advisory support. Despite the efforts of the Armenian side and international actors to achieve peace in the South Caucasus, the Azerbaijani side has undertaken another aggression against Armenia. On February 13, starting at 05:30, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from small arms in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Nerkin Hand settlement of Syunik region, as a result of which the Armenian side suffered 4 casualties and 1 wounded.
