The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution offered prayers over the body of martyr Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political office.
According to the information base of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei prayed over the body of martyr Ismail Haniyeh, a brave mujahideen of the Palestinian resistance, at Tehran University this morning (Thursday).
After prayers were offered over the body of martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the funeral ceremony for the head of the Hamas Politburo took place from Tehran University to Tehran's Azadi Square.
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political office, and one of his bodyguards were killed on Wednesday morning (July 31) when their residence was hit by gunfire in Tehran.
