Talks between the presidents themselves took place in the Vahdettin government building in Istanbul. Turkey hosted talks between Erdogan and Zelensky, following which a press conference was held. During a press conference, the Turkish president said that Ukraine "has the right to join NATO". Among the topics of the talks was the topic of a grain deal. Its once again extended term expires on July 17 and Zelensky, turning to Erdogan, asked him for assistance with the next extension.
