The availability of firearms in the United States and the sale of various types of firearms in stores has led to the fact that most people own personal weapons, and because of this, the number of firearm homicides in this country is very high. The rate of violent shootings in this country is higher than any other country in the world. While many stories are published every day about shootings in America and the high number of deaths in these incidents, the powerful gun lobby does not allow it to be passed a law to restrict the carrying of weapons in this country.
