Al-Houthi: Negotiations with Saudi Arabia continue
A member of the High Political Council of Ansarullah Yemen said that Saudi Arabia was the main party to the conflict, and negotiations with this country were still continuing. The Saudi Arabian News Agency SPA last Saturday quoted the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying that a delegation from Sanaa was invited to this country to complete meetings and negotiations based on Saudi Arabia's initiative announced in March 2021.
According to the AAA report, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi Friday on his Twitter account wrote, "As we announced in the perspective of a comprehensive solution, negotiations must be carried out with the aggressor coalition, because stopping aggression and sanctions are in the hands of the coalition." "Saudi Arabia should not be called a mediator, because this country is one of the main parties to the conflict," stressed al-Houthi. This Yemeni Ansarullah member explained that negotiations between Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Alliance from one side, and the Sana'a government from the other side, with Oman's mediation will continue.
This member of the High Political Council of Ansarullah Yemen added that these negotiations revolved around humanitarian issues, payment of salaries for Yemeni employees, opening of airports and ports, release of prisoners, withdrawal of foreign troops from Yemeni soil, reconstruction of Yemen, and achieving a comprehensive political solution. "We hope that the lobbying will be held seriously, because it will benefit the people of both countries and overcome all challenges," said al-Houthi.
