Al-Qassam: 43 Israeli vehicles destroyed, rocket barrage fired at Tel Aviv
The military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said it destroyed dozens of Israeli military vehicles while firing a barrage of rockets into Tel Aviv in recent days.
The Al-Qassam Brigades made the announcement on Sunday through a statement from its spokesman, Abu Obaida. Al-Qassam Brigades said its fighters have partially or completely destroyed 43 Israeli military vehicles, including tanks, over the past few days. According to Abu Obaida, Palestinian fighters also killed dozens of Israeli forces during 17 military operations across the besieged territory. Regime casualties included 15 troops, who were killed at close range, and an officer and a soldier, who were eliminated by Palestinian sniper fire. A number of Israeli forces were also killed in an explosion at the entrance to a tunnel. As part of their achievements, the Al-Qassam Brigades managed to capture four Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles and fire a volley of rockets at the city of Tel Aviv and its surrounding areas in the occupied territories. Israeli attacks on Gaza have so far killed over 27,300 people, mostly women and children, while injuring more than 66,600 others.
