Aliyev announced that Armenia removed 3 points from the draft peace treaty

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, announced that the Armenian side, sending the answer to the latest proposals of Baku, removed all the non-agreed clauses from the draft peace treaty.

Earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia offers Azerbaijan to sign the already agreed points of the peace agreement and work on the rest later. He also informed that 13 out of 16 articles were agreed upon.

Speaking from the chair of the Parliament of Azerbaijan, Aliyev openly accused Yerevan of delaying the peace treaty negotiations.

"We had to wait 70 days before we got the latest version from them. All non-agreed provisions were left out of their version of the peace treaty. Such a primitive and inadequate step was, to be honest, unexpected," said the president of Azerbaijan.

Against the background of statements about Baku's commitment to peace, the statement of the leader of Azerbaijan that the number one problem of Baku is the expansion of military power is also noteworthy. And this despite the fact that very recently the Ministry of Defense of that country announced the reduction of military expenses.

"Large-scale modernization works are being carried out in all our military factories. New equipment, techniques, weapons and ammunition are being produced," said Aliyev.

Let's remind that at the beginning of August, the Foreign Ministry of Armenia announced that in June, Armenia received the 10th package of recommendations on the draft peace treaty from Azerbaijan. Yerevan also confirmed the statement of the Azerbaijani side that, by mutual agreement, the article on regional communications was removed from the draft peace treaty.
