America cannot resist the Yemeni army in the Red Sea
As the US-led West's conflict with the Yemeni army in the Red Sea continues, Americans have admitted their impotence and weakness in this war.
Referring to the US's involvement in the so-called "security operation" in the Red Sea for more than three months, Admiral Mark Meigs, commander of the aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower, said that America and its allies have to do many things to be successful against the Yemeni army, Bloomberg news agency reported on Wednesday. He admitted that he needed to do something and that the actions taken to date did not provide the necessary security for shipping companies.
Ralf Haben, general manager of Hapag Lloyd in Hamburg, Germany, said that he is worried that the disruption in Red Sea transportation will continue until 2025.
Haben emphasized that in the coming months, the Yemeni army will have the ability to target ships at current speeds.
Despite almost daily attacks on Yemen, Ansarullah has captured the world's attention and is "at the forefront of resistance against Israel's war in Gaza," according to Bloomberg's report.
Simultaneously with the beginning of the Zionist regime's war crimes in the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni army began to attack ships affiliated with this regime or ships going to the ports of the occupied regions.
As the Yemeni army's attacks on Israeli ships continued, which brought the Port of Eilat in the south of the occupied territory to the brink of closure, America and its allies formed a coalition to oppose the Yemeni army in the Red Sea and repeatedly targeted points in Yemeni territory. The attacks they carried out in order to "weaken" the ability of the Yemeni army to attack, however, have not been successful so far, and the Yemeni army has repeatedly targeted the warships of these two countries.
