A day after the US Secretary of State's visit to Beijing, the US president called his Chinese counterpart a "dictator."A day after US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's visit to Beijing, Joe Biden said at a campaign fundraiser in California on Wednesday that President Xi Jinping was very upset that China's air the balloon flew over the United States.

In a not-so-clear statement, he noted, "The reason Xi Jinping was so upset when I shot down that balloon with two containers full of spy equipment inside was because he didn't know he was there." It is very frustrating for dictators not to know what happened," the American leader added.

Biden's remarks come at a time when many experts do not see Blinken's visit to China as successful in defusing tensions between Beijing and Washington.
At a meeting with Blinken, Xi Jinping stressed that Washington must respect China and its legitimate rights and interests.

Some cybernetic users in China called the Chinese president's behavior towards Blinken on this visit a sign of China's superiority over the United States.China and the US disagree on many issues, from trade to China's governance. China has repeatedly protested the US military presence in the region.
