Blinken: Ukraine will become a member of NATO

According to Reuters, Blinken told reporters during a trip to Brussels: Our goal is to create a bridge to Ukraine's membership in NATO. In this regard, a number of NATO member countries signed 10-year agreements and the members of this organization agreed to create a representative office in Ukraine in their latest action. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg recently said that Ukraine will join NATO and that more support is coming from this country. In this regard, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorski said on Thursday that NATO will establish a representative office in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has not changed to dominate Ukraine and there are no signs that he is ready for peace. Stoltenberg said that the Russian president started the war to block the path of Kiev's membership in NATO and added that it has achieved exactly the opposite result. Ukraine is now closer to NATO membership than ever before. Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Kiev sought membership in the European Union and NATO. In 2023, despite Hungary's opposition, the heads of the European Union agreed to start negotiations for Ukraine's membership in this union.
