Chad denied information about the return of American soldiers to the country
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad, Abderaman Koulamallah, has denied the claims of American General Kenneth Eckman of the American Military Command in Africa (AFRICOM) regarding the return of American soldiers to his country, claiming that it is at the request of N'Djamena.

Koulamallah said in his statement that, "There has been no communication with the US military departments and we completely deny this information. We have not discussed with the US government about the return of its soldiers to Chad ."
He pointed out that Chad is an independent country and will remain in charge of its decisions regarding national security and military cooperation with its international partners.
In an interview with Sputnik, Chad's former Interior Minister Ibrahim al Asil said that the opinion of the country's citizens is against the presence of the French and American forces and that American soldiers will not be allowed to return to the country.
