The participants of the Quds-Sustainable Resistance and Development conference, in the adopted final statement, stressed their support for the Palestinian resistance in the face of Israeli aggression.

According to AAA, the participants in the Cairo conference called for the defense of occupied Quds and support for the staunch resistance of the Palestinians at the political, legal and developmental levels against the Israeli regime's aggressive and systematic apartheid policies.

This statement also emphasizes that a fair resolution of the Palestinian issue with an emphasis on the sacred Quds is the main demand of the Arabs, freedom-loving people and adherents of international law, human rights, justice and equality around the world.

"Peace, security, just and comprehensive stability in the region will be realized only after the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate and indisputable rights, the most important of which are the right to return, self-determination, independence and the destruction of the illegal Israeli regime," the statement said.

The conference participants also called on the international community to take practical measures to ensure international support for the Palestinian people and to counter the ongoing aggression of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in all its forms, including Israeli colonial settlements, the apartheid regime and its discriminatory practices.

In the closing statement of that conference, the Security Council was also asked to assume its responsibilities and implement the resolutions concerning Palestine. The participants in this conference also condemned the Zionist regime's policy of facilitating the annexation of the West Bank and regarded it as illegal.

In another part of this statement, he emphasizes the need to protect Islamic and Christian shrines in Quds and to curb the efforts of the Zionist regime to change the historical and legal situation of this city and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On Sunday, in the capital of Egypt, Cairo, a conference was held in support of the capital of Palestine, the city of Quds, called "Quds - stability and development", in which Arab personalities took part at a high level and with the participation of international organizations and institutions.
