Continue to attack and besiege hospitals in Gaza by the Zionist regime
Despite the great concern and frequent warnings of the leaders of various countries and international institutions, the Zionist regime still continues to attack and besiege Gaza hospitals.
Since October 7, 2023 until today, the Zionist regime, while carrying out genocide in Gaza, has been using non-ethical and humane methods to achieve its illegal goals in Gaza. Among these dirty methods are starving the people of Gaza, attacking hospitals and medical centers, preventing the treatment of patients, threatening and abusing local doctors and nurses.
Starving the citizens, especially the children of Gaza, has caused painful incidents of children losing their lives due to hunger and forcing them to eat animal food, which has been mentioned by Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, as a moral scandal for the Zionist regime as well as the community of Internationally.
The attack on the hospital began in the first month of the war against Gaza. While attacking hospitals and besieging medical centers, the brutal Zionist regime has completely destroyed medical equipment, martyred a large number of doctors and nurses, patients and at the same time prevented a large number of patients and staff of health centers in those hospitals. The illegal and brutal regime justifies its inhumane actions by claiming that Hamas commanders are hiding in the tunnels dug under the hospitals. However, these claims have not been proven and continue to cause an increasing number of humanitarian disasters in Gaza.
In continuing the crimes against hospitals and medical centers, the Zionist regime since a week ago has surrounded and attacked several times the Al-Shifa Hospital located in the west of Gaza City. Since the beginning of last week, the hospital has been under siege and brutal attacks by the invading Isreal army, and until now hundreds of health workers, patients and refugees who found shelter in the hospital have been martyred or injured. For a week, the people detained in Al-Shifa Hospital and the houses around it have not had food or water. According to news sources, one of the heinous crimes committed by the invading soldiers in Al-Shifa hospital is to rape women including pregnant women in front of their families and husbands and then kill the witness.
Al Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis is another medical facility that has been besieged by the Zionist army. According to news sources, the invading army is still continuing its missile attacks near the hospital. The Palestine Red Crescent Society has announced the loss of communication with its staff at the hospital in Khan Yunis and that there has been no telephone or internet communication with the staff for 72 consecutive days.
The Al-Nasser medical center in Rafah is one of the other medical centers under constant siege and attack by the Zionist invaders. The International Committee of the Red Cross has reported that once again the Amal, Nasser and al-Shifa hospitals are facing frequent heavy attacks.
The Zionist regime continues these crimes against hospitals, medical centers, health workers and Palestinian patients, when according to international documents and agreements, all those places and workers should be safe during war. Despite all that, the Western powers still claim that the Zionist regime has the right to defend itself and want it not to be condemned in any way due to the murders and open crimes it carries out against innocent people.
