David Cameron: Ukraine has permission to attack Russian territory with British weapons
The British foreign minister, David Cameron, pledged that his country will provide 3 billion pounds of military aid to Ukraine a year, stressing that this aid will continue as long as the war drags on.
According to Euro News, British Foreign Minister David Cameron during his visit to Kiev said: Ukraine has the right to use the weapons provided by Britain to attack Russia. In an interview with Reuters, Cameron said it was up to Ukraine to decide how to use British weapons. In response to the question whether this permission includes the targeting of positions within the territory of Russia, he said: Ukraine has this right. Considering that Russia is invading Ukraine, it is quite logical that Ukraine would want to defend itself. In order to continue their military aid to Ukraine, Ukraine's Western partners have put one condition on Kiev, and that is not to attack Russian territory with these weapons. But some countries, including Finland and Latvia, have said they support Ukraine's right to use the weapons it has bought in self-defense against Russian territory.
