Disclosure of the suicide decision of a number of members of the British Parliament
A former British Conservative Party minister has spoken out about the decision of some members of Parliament to commit suicide due to the nature of their work. Ravi Stewart, Britain's former international development secretary, told GB News: "It is a miracle that some former colleagues did not commit suicide. And this happened while others are completely unconscious in public places.” In this interview, published a few days ago in his memoir, The Politics of the Abyss, Stewart confirmed his colleagues' attempts to commit suicide and stated: “These are people I know. They almost committed suicide in a very dangerous way. It's a miracle they're alive."
