The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt has said that, taking into account the severity of the crimes of the violent Zionist regime against the Palestinian citizens and insisting that the violent regime commit crimes on purpose, including killing civilians, forcing them to leave in their land and destroy the infrastructure of the Gaza Strip, which has led to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the strip, the government of Cairo Egypt joins South Africa's charges against the fake Israeli regime in the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt has asked the Security Council and the most influential international parties to take measures to immediately stop the war in the Gaza Strip, to stop the attacks of the Zionist regime of Israel against Rafah, and to take the necessary measures to ensure the security of Palestinian citizens are available.

On December 29, 2023, South Africa filed a case against Israel at the International Court of Justice ICJ in The Hague, Netherlands, accusing the Zionist regime of violating the Genocide Agreement of 1948 during its military operations in the Gaza Strip.
