Experts: Black Americans are 3 times more likely to be killed by the police than white Americans
The discriminatory system against African-Americans has been infiltrated into the performance of the police force and the judicial system in the United States.
A new report by United Nations human rights experts has reflected the great discrimination against black Americans and explained that urgent reforms must be made to get rid of those American citizens. In the report, the Human Rights Council of independent experts of the United Nations has expressed their concern due to the statistics and circumstances in which people are killed by the police in the United States. The report states that Black Americans are 4.5 times more likely to be imprisoned than whites. According to a special report by the Department of Justice, black people are three times more likely to face the threat of coercion and are 11 times more likely to experience acts of misconduct by the police such as verbal abuse, harassment or sexual misconduct than white people. The latest statistics in the United States show that black people make up 90 percent of the workers who were laid off this year due to the increasing fear of economic recession and the policy of many companies to reduce workers.
