From Gaza to Europe: The Criminalization of Palestinian Solidarity

In recent years, certain European countries have observed recurrent acts of desecration targeting Islamic sacred symbols and practices.

These insulting incidents happened under state-sanctioned enforcement falsely portrayed as upholding freedom of expression.

At the same time, these same countries impose legal penalties for any academic research concerning the Holocaust, imposing harsh punitive measures, such as imprisonment.

Following the recent Israeli massacre in Gaza, demonstrations condemning these atrocities have frequently been cracked down on by police forces, citing allegations of anti-Semitism.

Critics argue that the Holocaust's dubious narrative has been weaponized as a key justification for the infringement of Palestinian sovereignty and the creation of an occupying state over Palestine.

This selective application of legal standards, which claims to prioritize justice, seems instead to reinforce neo-colonialism.
