Grain Deal, discussions are back in Istanbul
Delegations from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations will continue talks on the "wheat deal" in Turkey. The high-level meeting on the wheat agreement was held in Istanbul in a quadripartite format on 10 and 11 May.
"The parties have agreed to continue working at the technical level in the quadripartite format, hosted by Turkey, so that the Wheat Initiative can effectively continue its activities in the coming period," the Turkish Defense Ministry said. on wheat was signed in Istanbul on 22 July.
The UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine have signed two documents to open a grain corridor from three Ukrainian ports (Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny) and to lift restrictions on Russian exports of food and fertilizers.
