Guterres: Israel should not interfere with the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres asked the Zionist regime not to prevent the civilian population of the Gaza Strip from receiving humanitarian aid. According to AAA, Guterres stressed on Monday morning: "The UN has food, water, medical facilities and fuel reserves in Egypt, Jordan, the West Bank and Israel that can be sent within a few hours. To deliver them, our staff must be able to safely and unhindered the entry and distribution of these humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip." Experts from the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Food Program have described the Israeli army's brutal attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip as a clear example of "collective punishment" and warned that the humanitarian situation in the strip is spinning out of control.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has announced that fuel supplies for hospitals in the Gaza Strip will run out in 24 hours. As Operation Al-Aqsa Storm enters its 10th day and continues to record unique victories for resistance fighters in the battle against the Zionist regime, the Israeli army, in a desperate attempt to counter Palestinian militants, has bombed residential areas, medical centers, mosques and places meetings of Palestinian refugees. In the Gaza Strip, 2,670 Palestinians were killed and more than 9,600 Palestinians were injured. Most of the martyrs and wounded are children and women.
