The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement HAMAS has praised the revenge operation carried out against the soldiers of the Zionist Israeli regime in the occupied West Bank, where the usurping regime has intensified its attacks and attacks.
Early Tuesday, two Israeli soldiers were killed and six others were wounded in a shooting attack on a checkpoint near the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank. The Palestinian who carried out the operation was martyred when Israeli soldiers attacked him by shooting him.
In response to the operation, Hamas said in a statement that the crimes and crimes of the illegal Israeli regime in the West Bank "will not go unpunished."
The Palestinian Resistance movement's statement noted that: "The ongoing crimes committed by the oppressive regime against our Palestinian people in the West Bank and its camps in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas will not weaken the resolve of our people and their Resistance."
The statement added that the Tayasir operation reaffirms that the Palestinians are determined "to continue following the path of Resistance and confront the fascist aggression of the Zionists."
Today's operation was carried out as the Israeli army has intensified its attacks on the occupied West Bank, killing dozens of people.
Meanwhile, Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, has condemned Israel's "criminal" actions in the West Bank.
Albanese has warned that Israel is expanding the scope of its destruction by crossing the border of the Gaza Strip and spreading throughout the occupied Palestinian territory.
