Hamas takes positive stance on proposed ceasefire in Gaza

Mahmoud Mardawi, one of the leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), said that in every negotiation, proposal and plan, we seek a complete halt to the war in Gaza.
Mardawi noted that just as the Zionist regime seeks the release of its detainees, Hamas is also negotiating to free its detainees from Israeli prisons.
Late on Tuesday, Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said progress had been made in ceasefire talks in the Gaza Strip, without giving details.
During a visit to the Rafah crossing on the Gaza Strip's border with Egypt, a French parliamentary delegation declared that Israel would destroy not only Hamas but all residents of Gaza.
