Human disaster in the Gaza Strip; Hospitals in southern Gaza will be closed for the next 48 hours
Ashraf al-Qadara, a spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry, warned on Sunday evening that if hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip were not supplied with fuel, doctors would no longer be able to provide services to patients within 48 hours.
As reported by the ArabNews news agency, Ashraf al-Qadara also noted: “There are more than 100 corpses in the Chief’s complex, and not a single ambulance has come here to transport them in the last two days.” “The occupation regime does not allow movement between the buildings of the Shefah Medical Center, and also does not allow rescue vehicles to arrive at the hospital to transport the sick and wounded,” Al-Qadara added. Meanwhile, on Sunday evening, news sources reported the martyrdom of all patients admitted to the intensive care unit of Al Shefa Hospital in the Gaza Strip. On the other hand, there are reports that Zionist regime drones have targeted a number of displaced civilians in the Al Shefa Hospital area.
In response to more than 7 decades of occupation of Palestine and more than 10 years of siege of the Gaza Strip, as well as the imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, the Islamic resistance movement Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7th. The operation is considered one of the deadliest attacks against the regime; Hamas fighters entered the occupied territories through border barriers at several points, attacked villages and killed or captured a number of Israeli soldiers. Therefore, to compensate for its defeats in resistance operations, the Zionist regime has repeatedly bombed various areas of the Gaza Strip since October 7, killing at least 11,208 Palestinians, including 4,506 children, 3,27 women and 678 elderly people. The number of people injured in the crimes of the Zionist regime has risen to more than 27,500. Also, more than 2,200 missing people have been registered, of which 1,300 are children and are still under the rubble.
