Imam Khamenei meeting with Hamas leadership council

During a meeting with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Chairman of the Hamas Leadership Council, Mohammad Ismail Darwish, congratulated the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the great victory of the Resistance in Gaza and said: "We consider the coincidence of the days of the victory of the Resistance in Gaza with the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution a good omen, and we hope that this coincidence will create the ground for the liberation of Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Mr. Khalil al-Hayan, also congratulated the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the victory of the Resistance in Gaza at the beginning of this meeting, saying, "We are all proud to meet with Your Excellency today, and this great victory is a joint victory for us and the Islamic Republic."

During this meeting, Imam Khamenei, honoring the memory of the martyrs and martyred commanders of Gaza, especially the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, addressed the Hamas leaders and said: "May Almighty God grant you and the people of Gaza honor and victory, and make Gaza a witness to the noble verse that says: 'Even a small group, by divine grace and permission, can overcome a large and powerful group.'"

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized: "You defeated the Zionist regime, in fact America, and by God's grace, you did not let them achieve any of their goals."

Referring to the suffering endured by the people of Gaza during the one and a half year resistance, Imam Khamenei added: “The result of all this suffering was ultimately the victory of truth over injustice, and the people of Gaza became an example for all those whose hearts are inclined towards the Resistance.”

During this meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, highly praised the Hamas negotiators and called the agreement a great achievement, saying: "Today, it is the duty of the entire Islamic world and all supporters of the Resistance to help the people of Gaza to alleviate their suffering."

Imam Khamenei considered it necessary to plan cultural activities and continue the current path of propaganda work, in parallel with the reconstruction and military work in Gaza.

He added: "The opposition forces and Hamas have excelled in propaganda and information work, and this method should continue."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered faith to be the main factor and asymmetric weapon of the Resistance Front against the enemy, and said: "It is thanks to this faith that the Islamic Republic and the Resistance Front do not feel weak in the face of the enemies."

Referring to the recent threats made by the United States against the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran, Imam Khamenei emphasized: "Such threats have no impact on the mindset of our people and officials, as well as the country's activists and youth."

He noted: "The issue of defending Palestine and supporting the Palestinian people is also beyond doubt in the minds of the Iranian people, and is a settled issue."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "The Palestinian issue is a top priority for us, and the victory of Palestine is also a definite issue for us."

Emphasizing that ultimately the final victory belongs to the Palestinian people, Imam Khamenei noted: "Incidents and upheavals should not cause doubt, but rather we should move forward with the strength of faith and hope, and with the hope of divine help."

Finally, addressing the leaders of Hamas, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "By God's grace, the day will come when you will all proudly resolve the issue of Quds for the Islamic world, and that day will definitely come."

At this meeting, the Chairman of the Hamas Leadership Council, Mr. Mohammad Ismail Darwish, the Deputy Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Mr. Khalil al-Hayan, and the Head of Hamas in the West Bank, Mr. Zaher Jabarin, paid tribute to the martyred leaders of the Resistance, especially the martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Yahya Sinwar, and Saleh al-Aroor, and presented a report on the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank, the victories and successes achieved, and the current situation, and expressed their gratitude for the continued support of the Islamic Republic and the people of Iran.
