Immigration, Macron: I want to cooperate with the Italian government

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, said he wanted to "cooperate with the government of Italy" in managing migration flows. We must not underestimate the fact that Italy, "as a country of first arrival, is undergoing very strong pressure today" and cannot be left "alone", Macron told "France Television" on the sidelines of the Council of Europe in course in Reykjavik.
