International report on the shocking statistics of the cost of war damage in the Gaza Strip
The World Bank and the United Nations noted that the cost of infrastructure damage caused by the Gaza war has reached $18.5 billion in four months.
According to AP news agency, estimates in the joint report of the World Bank and the United Nations Organization showed that the cost of damage to vital infrastructure in the Gaza Strip was about 18.5 billion dollars.
The occupiers have continued their attacks on the Gaza Strip for 6 months and have targeted civilians, medical staff, journalists and all the things and tools necessary for life in the Gaza Strip, which is suffering from a humanitarian crisis in the middle of a fierce siege by the Zionists.
In this report of the World Bank it is stated that "damages caused to buildings and parts of the infrastructure affect all sectors of the economy, where residential buildings account for 72% of the costs, while the infrastructure of public services such as water, health and education account for 19 % and damages caused to commercial and industrial buildings account for 9% of this cost.
This destruction has left a huge amount of debris and rubble, which is estimated to be around 26 million tons, and it may take years to remove and clean up its effects.
The Central Province municipalities in Gaza announced on March 30 that the invaders are deliberately bombing municipal headquarters, water wells, emergency tanks, and water and sewage lines.
