Israel's war on Gaza and the other Middle Eastern countries has demonstrably contributed to increased domestic social tensions in Israel itself, reflected in a sharp rise in family violence.

The staggering 65% surge in demand for mental health therapy services from the Israeli Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs since October 2023—as reported in the press—points to an unprecedented phenomenon in the Israeli social landscape.

A recent analysis indicates a strong correlation between domestic violence and Israeli couples where at least one partner served in high-risk combat zones like Gaza.

According to the study's findings, these couples are twice as likely to experience emotional, physical, or sexual violence as couples where neither partner served in combat.

Witnessing the ongoing genocide against civilians in Gaza, large segments of the Israelis have experienced intense post-traumatic stress symptoms,

manifesting in an increase—over 300,000—in applications for privately owned firearms, a 40% rise from pre-conflict levels.

The Lafer Center for Women's and Gender Studies in Israel has reported that, in 2024 alone, over thirty women were murdered in criminal occurrences, categorized as femicide.

Many Israeli media outlets predict this bleak situation is the next disaster awaiting Israel.
