58 days have passed since the oppressive Zionist regime launched a war against the Gaza Strip. More than 15,000 civilians, 70% of them children and women, have been martyred in the war. Journalists are also among the important groups that have not been spared from the intentional attacks of the Zionists in that war. 73 journalists have been martyred within a period of 57 days. Several journalists killed by the Zionist army in Gaza Journalists who were martyred had the citizenship of different countries including Palestine, Lebanon and Turkey. On Friday alone, which was the first day of the war after the end of the seven-day ceasefire, three journalists were martyred. Muntaser Mustafa Al-Sawaf and Marwan Al-Sawaf, two brothers who were journalists of Turkey's Anatolia News Agency, and Abdullah Darwish, a photographer and reporter for Al-Aqsa TV, are three journalists who were martyred that day.

Journalists are being deliberately targeted by the Zionist regime, while according to international humanitarian law, deliberately targeting journalists and civilians is a real example of criminality and war crimes. According to international law, journalists should have the freedom and protection to do their work. The only and perhaps the biggest mistake made by journalists is trying to cover the crimes of the Zionists; and therefore, as is the norm for that brutal regime, journalists are haunted by Zionist attacks, whereas in this current war, the level of sabotage and attacks has increased even more. While the powers that claim to defend freedom and human rights have remained silent on the killing of 73 journalists, some people and several organizations have been moved and thus decided to give a solution to the crime of the Zionists. Mick Wallace, an Irish member of the European Parliament, has posted a message on the X social network that reads: "The apartheid government of Israel is targeting journalists who show the courage to expose its war crimes."

The Reporters Without Borders Association has said that since 2001, the Zionist regime has killed dozens of journalists and has not been responsible for the issue and explained that the Zionist leaders have no intention of providing protection to journalists and basically, they are targeting them on purpose. Mick Wallace The Society of Reporters Without Borders has noted that the refusal of the Zionist regime to provide protection to journalists has been the cause of burning the souls of journalists in Gaza. Anthony Belanger, Secretary General of the International Federation of Journalists, has announced that what is happening against journalists, women and children in Gaza is a deliberate attack on people. Another important point is that, along with the killing of journalists in Gaza, the Western media supports the crimes of the Zionist regime by firing journalists who criticize the crimes of the oppressive regime. So far, dozens of Western media journalists, including the BBC, have been suspended for posting pro-Palestinian texts on social media. But despite the attitude and direction of Western countries and the Zionist regime in relation to journalists, the crimes of the Zionists have not been able to be hidden; and public opinion around the world has united and stood against the criminal and child-murdering regime. In a statement issued in support of journalists, the HAMAS movement has said: "The policy of killing and burning journalists will never be able to lead to the concealment of the truth of the Nazi crimes of the Zionists against children and women and the genocide carried out by this regime that receives support direct support of US President Joe Biden and his Zionist government" .../
