Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has threatened Washington, Berlin, London and Kiev with nuclear weapons if Russia is forced to withdraw from Ukraine. Medvedev, who is the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia and a close ally of the President of that country Vladimir Putin, has written on the Telegram network that if Moscow is forced to give up the territory of Ukraine that it controls, it "will not hesitate" to make "difficult decisions". He explained by saying: "attempts to restore Russia's borders of 1991 will lead to only one thing - an international war with the West with the use of our strategic (nuclear) weapons against Kiev, Berlin, London, and Washington and against other places all the historical good that has been included for a long time to be targeted by our planes through three-dimensional nuclear beams". Medvedev has insisted that Russia has "enough courage" to act if the country is "close to extinction." The war in Ukraine The former president of Russia has continued to explain in his message that: "it is better to return everything before the end of time. Or we will return it ourselves and cause great losses to the enemy as happened in Avdiivka". At the end of the week, Ukrainian forces were forced to leave the eastern town of Avdiivka after a year-long war. Earlier this month, Medvedev criticized NATO allies for what he called a "dangerous reaction" to the possibility of a major war between them and Russia. In a message he wrote on the Internet X, the Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia said: "the answer will be non-equal to defend the territorial integrity of our country. Ballistic and cruise missiles carrying special warheads will be used. This is based on the system our military and defense which is known by all. And that will be the end of everything".../
