Missile attacks by RSF militants kill at least 21 civilians in central Sudan
At least 21 civilians have been killed and tens of others injured after the militants of the Rapid Response Force (RSF) bombed a market in the city of Sinnar in central Sudan.
The Sudan Medical Network has reported that at least 21 civilians have been killed and more than 70 others injured in shelling attacks carried out by the RSF force in the Sinnar market in central Sudan. The Sudanese Doctors Network has said that it condemns the mass killings carried out by RSF militants against civilians in the city of Sinnar for targeting places where people gather and thus causing a great human disaster.
The Rapid Action Force led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, former Vice President of Sudan's governing body, attacked Sinnar state on June 24 this year and took control of several towns in the state.
The Sudanese Army (SAF) has been fighting with the Rapid Response Force (RSF) since mid-April last year; where until now more than 20 thousand people have been killed in the war and around 10 million others have been forced to move their homes and become refugees in neighboring countries.
The international community and the United Nations continue to call for a ceasefire in Sudan to prevent a humanitarian disaster that will push millions of people into starvation and death due to food shortages caused by the fighting that has already spread in 13 of the 18 states of Sudan. .
