This analyst pointed out three insults by Ortegas, including praising the Zionist regime, requesting that Hezbollah not participate in the new Lebanese government, and wearing a ring in the shape of a Star of David.

According to Atwan, this background caused Morgan to violate the basic Lebanese spectrum, namely Hezbollah and Shiites, and openly intervene in Lebanon’s governance and decide which side should participate in the government and which side should be left out.

The editor-in-chief of Rai Alyoum strongly criticized Lebanon’s weak response to this arrogance of the American official and added: Some people may think that the reason for this reaction is the weakness of Lebanon and its difficult situation, and that it is not good to deal with America and its president who behaves like an angry bull. But these are the positions that have brought Lebanon to a miserable situation.

He stated: The occupying regime has violated the ceasefire more than 1,500 times, as emphasized by Sheikh Naeem Qasim, Secretary General of Hezbollah, but America, as the main supporter of this regime and the head of the ceasefire monitoring committee, has not criticized it in the slightest. This regime’s attacks on Lebanon continue.

However, the United States, as the main supporter of this regime and the head of the ceasefire monitoring committee, has not made the slightest criticism of it. Atwan wrote: “We hope that the people of Lebanon, after all these aggressions and attacks, will realize the importance of Hezbollah’s Islamic resistance. It was this resistance that liberated southern Lebanon in 2000, defeated Israel in 2006, and was on the verge of crushing the occupying regime with attacks on Tel Aviv, Haifa, Caesarea, Safed, and Acre on the ‘Great Sunday,’ forcing four million settlers to take shelter.”

On Thursday, after meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, Ortegas, the deputy US special representative for Middle East affairs, Steven Whitkoff, appeared in the media and said provocatively: Israel defeated Hezbollah, and we are grateful to them for this!

Ortagus, in a blatant interference in Lebanon’s internal affairs, added: “We strongly emphasize that Hezbollah must not participate in any way in the new Lebanese government.”

She added: America is committed to partnership with Lebanon, and we have high hopes for this issue, because we know that there are committed politicians who guarantee that in addition to eliminating corruption in Lebanon, they will also end Hezbollah’s influence in the affairs of this country.
