Nord Stream, Hungary defines the gas pipeline attack as a terrorist attack

For Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipeline must be regarded as a terrorist attack. “What happened to the Nord Stream pipeline is truly scandalous. Because it is essentially the first time that such an important European critical infrastructure has been attacked – regardless of who attacked it,” the minister said. Hungary hopes for a "complete, in-depth, structured and detailed" investigation into what happened, added the Foreign Minister. Regardless of who initiates the investigation, Budapest will support all kinds of proceedings that will identify those involved in the attack, he said. The UN, added Szijjarto, should provide a mechanism to investigate what happened.
