Opinion poll: 96 percent of Saudis oppose their country establishing ties with Israel
Opinion polls show that most Saudi citizens oppose their country establishing normal relations with the illegal regime of Israel. The results of an opinion poll conducted by The Washington Institute for Near East Policy show that 96 percent of Saudis oppose the plan of Mohammed bin Salman, the heir to the throne of the country, to establish normal relations with the Zionist regime after the Gaza war. The results show that, the participants of the survey have emphasized that Arab countries should completely cut ties with the brutal Israeli regime in order to protest the Zionists' aggression in Gaza. In addition, according to the opinion survey, 40 percent of Saudis have a positive attitude towards the Palestinian Islamic Struggle Movement HAMAS, while the level of this positive attitude was only 10% before the start of the Gaza war. Demonstrations against the establishment of normal relations with the illegal Israeli regime have been held frequently in Arab countries. In addition, 87 percent of the participants in the opinion survey believe that the illegal regime of Israel is very weak and divided from the inside and that it is possible to defeat it and dismantle it. Likewise, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy poll shows that 95 percent of Saudis do not believe that Hamas has killed civilians in its attacks.
