Palestinian Media: Israeli Troops Withdraw from Beit Hanoun, Gaza Strip

Palestinian and Israeli media reported that the Zionist regime troops, along with their military equipment, withdrew from the city of Beit Hanoun, Gaza Strip, after suffering heavy defeats in the region. The Palestinian news agency, Sama News, reported on Sunday (24/12/2023) that Israeli troops had completely withdrawn from the city of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip. Sama News also uploaded a video showing the city of Beit Hanoun, which was empty of Israeli troops, and all its combat equipment. Meanwhile, the Israel Hayom newspaper revealed that the reason for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Beit Hanoun was not due to pressure from the United States. According to this Israeli newspaper, the reason for the total withdrawal of Israeli troops, from the city of Beit Hanoun, was fear over the possibility of increasing Israeli army casualties, and the killing of prisoners in Gaza. On the other hand, Israel's Kanal 12 television reported that Israeli troops called last weekend the toughest weekend since the war broke out, because 14 of its soldiers were killed in Gaza. On Saturday, the Zionist Regime Armed Forces declared the third phase of the war against the Gaza Strip, and continued its brutal attacks with aerial bombardment, as well as artillery. The third stage of the Gaza war, includes ending ground operations, reducing the number of troops, ending reserve force activities, carrying out air strikes, and creating a buffer zone on the border of the Occupied Territory and Gaza.
