Palestinian official: Oslo agreement was buried under the wheels of Israeli tanks
The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said: “The Oslo Treaty was buried under the wheels of Israeli tanks.”
Let us recall that in September 1993, Yitzhak Rabin, then Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and Yasser Arafat, head of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), signed the Oslo Accord in Washington and on its basis they recognized each other and announced a compromise and the gradual withdrawal of Zionist regime troops from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. According to Arabi 21, Hossein Al-Sheikh, secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), said: “What we should do now first is to isolate the Zionist regime cabinet led by Benjamin Netanyahu on the international stage.” Al-Sheikh, speaking about the events in Gaza, noted: “What is happening now in this region is a massive aggression of the Zionist regime against the population of Gaza.” A Palestinian official said: "Under no circumstances does the Palestinian Authority want to witness the killings and displacement occurring in the Gaza Strip, but it lacks the military power to confront Israel."
