Premature Babies in Gaza

Unimaginable Tragedy: The Plight of Premature Babies in Gaza
As stipulated by all written and unwritten laws, in war situations, it is imperative to protect children and babies. They are, in fact, the embodiment of humanity's future. The act of killing them is deemed a war crime, and those responsible must be brought to trial in international courts. The massacre at Al-Nasr hospital in Gaza has pushed the boundaries of what constitutes a war crime. During the hospital's siege and evacuation by Israeli forces, soldiers were informed of the urgent need to care for five premature babies in the neonatal unit. However, upon the ceasefire and the return of hospital staff, the doctors were confronted with an unimaginably disturbing sight. The corpses of the babies had been left on the hospital beds, decomposing. The unfolding events witnessed by Gazans are becoming more peculiar and distressing with each passing day.
