Protest against France in Chad
Protest against France in Chad
The people of some African countries still hate France. Demonstrations were held against France in the African country Chad. Thousands of angry Chadians protested outside a French military camp. These protesters were protesting against the killing of their country's soldier. This Chadian soldier was killed by a French soldier. This soldier named Muhammad Daku Hameed was killed after being shot by a French soldier. Angered by this, thousands of Chadians protested against France.
The demonstration took place in the town of Faia in Chad where the French military cantonment is located. There is talk of pacifying the protesters, but their anger is not reducing. French colonialism on Chad has ended almost sixty years ago but the people of Chad are not happy with the presence of French troops in this country. He has long been opposed to the French military presence in his country. It is worth mentioning that in some African countries even today, angry feelings are found against France. The tension between the small country of Africa, Niger and France is increasing rapidly.
The French army chief has said that any attack on any military and diplomatic establishment of this country in Niger will be given a strong response. This is the reaction from the French side to the decision of the military council of this country to expel the French ambassador from Niger. Earlier, the Military Council of Niger had announced on Thursday that it could no longer guarantee the safety of the French ambassador, so he should be expelled from Niger. On August 25, 2023, the French ambassador in Niger was issued an order by the Foreign Ministry of this country to leave Niger within 48 hours.
They did not accept this thing of the Niger government and they are still present in this country. France has said that it does not recognize Niger's military council, so the French ambassador will not be recalled from Niger. This is the reason why security has been increased around the French Embassy in Niger's capital, Niamey. No one is being allowed to go there. It may be recalled that in August, the special security forces of the President of Niger arrested and ousted the President of this country, Muhammad Bazoom. Niger's military council sees the country's former president as a French sycophant.
