Russia: Toppling the government of Kiev is an "important and inevitable goal" of military operations in Ukraine

Dmitry Medvedev, has said this in an interview with the news agency RIA Novosti, when he answered a question about the prospect of peace talks between Moscow and Kiev, where he said, military operations in Ukraine will continue next year. Medvedev added that the overthrow of the Western-backed government of Ukraine led by Volodymyr Zelensky is an undeclared but "most important and inevitable goal" of Russia's military operations in Ukraine. The former president of Russia emphasized by saying: Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Nikolaev and Kiev are Russian cities like many other cities that are under temporary occupation (of the Ukrainian government).
