Russia: Ukraine entered Kursk with the cooperation of Western intelligence agencies

Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) has announced that the entry into Ukraine's territory in Kursk province was made with the cooperation of Western intelligence agencies.

The Russian intelligence agency has said that the operation of the Ukrainian army in Kursk was prepared in cooperation with the American, British and Polish intelligence agencies. It added that, the units that participated in the operation coordinated the fighting in training centers in England and Germany.

Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has insisted it has "reliable information" on the matter, but has not provided evidence. Initially, the White House claimed that Washington was not informed in advance about Ukraine's plan to invade Russia.

Speaking about the attack on Ukraine in Kursk, the assistant of the President of Russia, Nikolai Patrushev, has emphasized that the attack was planned with the participation of NATO and Western countries, and that without their direct support and participation, Kiev would not have entered the territory of Russia.

In the third year of its war with Russia, Ukraine has taken an unprecedented step by carrying out a surprise attack in Kursk province located on the border of the two countries after failing to liberate its land in four provinces of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson, together and continue to advance Russian forces in the Donetsk axis.

Ukraine has claimed that it has taken over 1,263 square kilometers of Russia, including 93 residential areas. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that the country currently controls 92 villages in the Kursk region.

We can say that, this step of Ukraine, to a large extent, has been taken with the aim of reducing the pressure of the Russians in the Donetsk axis as well as taking over the territory of Russia in order to use the issue as a trump card in any future ceasefire negotiations. However, the main problem of the Ukrainians is that Russia has sent troops to Kursk from all sides to confront the Ukrainian armed forces, but has not changed the composition of its forces in the Donetsk axis. Moreover, the areas occupied by Russia in Donetsk are more strategic and valuable than the areas that Russia lost in Kursk.

There is no doubt that one of the most important results of Ukraine's operation in Kursk is to raise the morale of the people and the armed forces of Ukraine. Also, Ukraine has used the operation as propaganda, including the Western media showing videos of Ukrainian forces distributing water to the people of Kursk, who could not evacuate their homes, and thus wanted to show themselves in a human form. However, this propaganda campaign by Ukraine and its Western partners was tarnished after the distribution of videos showing the abuse of Ukrainian soldiers against Russian soldiers who were taken hostage, which has revealed the real face of the war in the Kursk area.

The act of Ukraine, which means crossing the red lines of Russia's national security by occupying part of the country's land, is the first since the Second World War, and would not have been possible without the help of Western allies of Kiev. Western countries, in the framework of NATO and under the leadership of the United States, have provided Ukraine with a large and unprecedented amount of weapons and military equipment, intelligence assistance and so on in the last three years. According to the Infant Military Telegram channel, Ukraine has received approximately $334 billion in aid from its allies since the beginning of its war with Russia. The United States alone has sent the largest military aid to Ukraine amounting to 70 billion dollars.

Senior officials of the United States and NATO believe that Russia's victory in the war in Ukraine will mean the humiliation of the Western military organization and the expansion of Russia's regional and international influence and power. On the other hand, Washington sees the war in Ukraine as an important opportunity to weaken the military power of Russia and decrease the national power of that country, the rival of the United States.

However, continuing the war is causing more and more human and material losses for Russia and Ukraine and further weakening Ukraine.
