Russian Foreign Ministry calls on Turkish government not to participate in Western policies towards Ukraine

During his meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Russia Tanju Bilgiç in Moscow, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin asked Turkey not to participate in Western policies regarding Ukraine.

Galuzin recalled that it is unacceptable for Western countries to send financial aid and military equipment to Ukraine, stressing that such aid and support will only increase conflicts.

Galuzin also condemned Ukraine's actions in the Kursk region, noting that under these conditions there is no room for negotiations with the other side.

Referring to Russia's stance against the conference held in Burgenstock, Switzerland, which aimed to "assemble an anti-Russian coalition" regarding Ukraine, Galuzin said that such initiatives were unacceptable to Moscow and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, in a statement published yesterday (Monday), asked the Turkish Government to refrain from participating in the destructive policies of the "collective Western" countries.
