Russian Foreign Ministry: No Dialogue Possible with "Ukrainian Nazi Regime," Says Zakharova

Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, issued a strong statement condemning the Ukrainian government, asserting that there is no basis for dialogue with what she termed the "Ukrainian Nazi regime." According to Zakharova, the actions of the Ukrainian government, particularly in targeting civilians and threatening nuclear security, have made any form of negotiation impossible.

In her remarks, Zakharova referenced recent events, specifically pointing to what she described as the aggressive actions of Ukrainian forces following Russia's "gesture of goodwill" on August 6. She accused Ukraine of responding to this gesture with violence, including a "bandit attack" in Russia's Kursk region. Zakharova further claimed that Ukrainian forces have been involved in "atrocities against the civilian population," deliberately targeting medical personnel, rescue workers, and volunteers, and conducting rocket attacks on civilian vehicles.

Zakharova also highlighted what she described as widespread looting and actions that pose a threat to nuclear security, underscoring the severity of the situation. Citing Russian President Vladimir Putin, she reiterated that there is no possibility of negotiations with a government that engages in such activities.

The comments from Zakharova come amidst escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as the conflict between the two countries continues with no resolution in sight.
