Support by the President of the European Council for the recognition of a Palestinian state

The President of the European Council, while supporting the recognition of an independent State of Palestine, called for a coordinated approach between the EU and other countries to achieve tangible progress on this issue.

Charles Michel told Euronews that Spain, Ireland and Norway have declared their support for recognition of an independent State of Palestine more than 7 months after the start of the Zionist regime's recent war against the Gaza Strip.

Spain, Norway and Ireland officially recognized the independent State of Palestine.

Belgian Foreign Minister Hadje Labib also said that her country is working to recognize the rights and freedoms of the Palestinian people.

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Bart Eide said on Tuesday that Oslo would formally recognize the state of Palestine, saying it was a turning point in relations between Norway and Palestine.

Espen Bart Eide added that for more than 30 years, Norway has been one of the strongest supporters of the creation of a Palestinian state.

At the same time, the Zionist regime, in response to the decision of three European countries to recognize the Palestinian state, claims that this action is a kind of “reward to Hamas.”

In recent weeks, EU members' position on the Gaza war has changed and they have condemned the actions of the Zionist regime, having seen the ongoing criminal attacks on the Palestinian people and the deteriorating living conditions of people in the Gaza Strip.

At least 45 Palestinians were killed and another 249 injured in the Israeli regime's genocidal attack last Sunday when it attacked a refugee camp in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. About half of those killed and wounded were women, children and elderly people.

As the search for victims continues and grieving families prepare to bury their loved ones, children wandered barefoot Monday around the wreckage, where smoke still rose.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime, using the most advanced weapons, including fighter jets, drones, tanks and various modern types of missiles and bombs, most of which were made by European countries and the United States, has been attacking the Gaza Strip.

The genocide of the people of Gaza, which lasted more than 7 months, martyred at least 36,096 Palestinians and injured more than 81,136 people. Most of the martyrs and wounded were children, women and old people.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is embroiled in a new scandal related to the distribution of Pfizer vaccines. US and UK Attack on Yemen

On Tuesday evening, American and British fighter jets bombed Yemen's al-Jabban area in the west of Hodeidah province. This attack was reportedly in support of Israel, which has been conducting ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip. In response, Yemen has imposed a naval embargo against countries supporting Israel.

Fear of UN Blacklisting

The Zionist regime is reportedly making significant efforts to avoid being blacklisted by the United Nations. This follows accusations of war crimes, including the killing of over 15,000 Palestinian children since October 7, 2023, during Israeli attacks on Gaza.

European Union’s Credibility at Risk

The French publication Le Nouvel Obs warned that the European Union's credibility is at stake if it fails to address the violence and colonialism in the West Bank and achieve a ceasefire in Gaza. The publication emphasized that Europe's future relations with many Islamic countries depend on its actions regarding Palestine.

The Palestinian Government Information Office in Gaza reported that the Israeli army killed 72 Palestinian refugees in the past 48 hours, bombing refugee tents in areas west of Rafah that were considered safe.

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah’s Statement

Hezbollah’s Secretary General, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, condemned the Israeli regime, describing it as worse than the Nazis. He cited the Rafah massacre as evidence of the enemy's cruelty, cowardice, and betrayal, asserting that Israel lacks any values or morals.
