Taliban Leaders Issue Instructions on Ease of Trading Activities
The leader of the Afghan Taliban government issued instructions on facilitating the necessary facilities for the growth of trade and industry in the country. The Afghan news agency AVA reported that the leader of the Taliban, Molla Hibatullah Akhundzada on Tuesday (22/8/2023) issued instructions to relevant ministries and departments to provide necessary facilities for trade at the border commercial terminal, taking into account the country's commercial and economic interests. The Taliban leader said that officials and employees of central and provincial ministries and departments are obliged to properly deal with private sector activists and prevent delays in dealings according to state legislative documents. The Taliban leader also added in his order that Afghan ministries and departments must use domestic products, if possible for the purpose of domestic industrial growth and self-sufficiency.
