While some sources have claimed that the body of Sayyid Hassan Nasrullah will be transferred to Iraq and buried in the holy city of Karbala after the funeral service will be held in Beirut, Lebanon, Hizbullah leaders are currently denying the rumours. A circle close to the movement of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance has informed the AFP news agency today Friday that, due to the difficulty of conducting a public burial "due to Israeli threats", the body of Martyr Sayyid Nasrullah "has been buried in time" at an unknown location. The circle, which did not want to reveal its identity, said: due to the fear of threats made by Israel to target the mourners, the place where the funeral will be held and the burial place, "the body of Martyr Nasrullah has been temporarily buried in an unknown place" until the appropriate time when the activities of the funeral will be held in public with the participation of all people.

The deputy head of Hezbollah's political council in Lebanon said: "We are ready to counter any ground offensive by the Zionists, and in this matter the superiority is on the side of Hezbollah."

According to  Mahmoud Komati stressed: "Wherever the Zionist enemy enters Lebanese territory, we will destroy all its forces and military equipment," and added: "Our missiles reach a depth of 150 kilometers in the territory of occupied Palestine."
 
On the other hand, Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Ezzedine al-Qassam Battalions of the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), wrote on his X social media account (formerly Twitter) that Iraqi Islamic Resistance Forces killed several soldiers in a drone attack in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, wounding some of them.
 
Abu Obeida added: "The continuation of the aggression and crimes of the Zionist regime will lead to great losses and setbacks for Israel."
 
Twenty-five regime soldiers were killed and 23 others were wounded in a drone attack by the Iraqi Islamic Resistance on a Zionist regime military base in the occupied Golan region on Friday evening.
