The Biden government is the world's largest arms supplier

The administration of US President Joe Biden was recognized as the largest seller of weapons to countries in the world. In the first fiscal year of President Joe Biden's administration, U.S. arms sales to other countries reached $206 billion, according to annual statistics from the U.S. State Department.

The Intercept website published a report that Washington in 2022, that is, during the presidency of Joe Biden, sold weapons to at least 48 or 57 percent of the countries of the world. These weapons have been sold to 84 countries that are recognized as autocratic governments under the world government system in 2022.

Thus, since the end of the Cold War, the United States has been the world's largest arms seller, accounting for about 40% of all arms exports per year. The Intersit report states that America sells weapons to other countries in two ways: foreign military supplies and direct commercial sales.

In foreign military sales, the US acts as a dealer, that is, it buys weapons from a company and then delivers them to a foreign recipient, but in direct commercial sales, an agreement is reached between a US company and one or more foreign governments.

America, which is the world's largest exporter of weapons to the countries of the world, on the other hand, faces the problem of freedom to carry weapons within the country. A problem that causes gun violence and shootings across the United States and takes more lives every day.
